Both models accept the Arduino Mega 2560 as a plug-in and utilize the standard Arduino programming interface.
The Mega has 44 Buffered IO's and the Mini has 40 UN-buffered IO's.
Both intelligent controllers have dedicated channels for controlling Hydroponics, Aquaponics, Industrial and Environmental Systems and Processes.
The Mega does CO2, PH, DO, EC and FLow ... The Mini does CO2, PH, DO and EC.
The Mega has 4 dedicated, addressable SPI Analog sensor channels (1000 sensors ) ... The Mini has One ( 250 sensors ).
Analog SPI Sensors are daisy-chained in series on a single 3 or 4 wire line with each sensor having it's own address.

How Can I Program my controller ?
You can use the standard Arduino IDE and you can get it here:
The open-source Arduino (IDE) makes it easy to write code and upload it to the board via USB. It runs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. The environment is written in Java and other open-source software.
